Measurements
Our size lengths advertised are up to so if for example you require 90cm long select the 100cm option and leave a note at checkout with the actual size required. The depths start off at either 45cm or 60cm but once we work the wood this is reduced by around 2cm on average so the actual finished depths are approx. 43cm and 58cm. we can do bespoke depths on request just send us a message.
Our chunky wood desk tops are approximately 4.5cm thick and the standard hairpin legs are 71cm (we can make bespoke hairpin legs in any size, message us before ordering for a price for a custom size) so an overall height of around 75cm
Monitor Stand Sizes
The monitor stand can be as high and wide as you want it, as standard it will be made 15cm high off the desktop and just short of the same width as the desk as per images or we can do it exactly the same length as the desk we prefer it like the image its less ‘boxy looking’ with the same practicalities, the space underneath being around 10.5cm, if you’d like it a custom size length, height or design please add a note with these details at checkout. If you would like to increase the depth of the monitor shelf we can do this for the following costs 15-22cm is plus £15 and 23-28cm is plus £25 if you would like to add this to your order send us a message and we will send a link to purchase the add on optional extra
We also make this desk with matching shelves with an option of fixings please enquire via a message for a price on this option.
Quality Craftsmanship
There are many desks on the market today do not mistake ours for one of the cheaply made items that I see so often, we are very reasonably priced for this quality piece of work. Every item is handmade and finished with a 3 stage sanding then stain or wax, it can be left natural for you to paint yourself.
Each table will vary in appearance, no piece of wood is the same and this is what helps us make these unique desks. As your item is made using new and reclaimed wood that has been dried either naturally or kiln dried, there may be evidence of its previous history, which means that you can expect to find knocks, cuts, stains and marks from its natural form. We take the upmost care to keep the unique and interesting features of any timber.
Wood is a natural product that responds to temperature and humidity changes by expanding and contracting. Some of these changes may be noticeable in the physical appearance of the product. Every care is taken to ensure our products can take a certain level of climate and humidity changes, the conditions in your home can affect the wood products, We advise to keep the product in stable conditions to minimise the effects of temperature and moisture changes in the environment for example avoid placing the table over a heat source i.e. a radiator or next to a fire. This will help prolong the life of your product.
